A love of classic French wines and food drove Peter Spann to California during the wine renaissance of the late 1970s to meet the new small, artisan producers, and later to Glen Ellen where Spann Vineyards was born.
Today, the Spanns take the best ideas and techniques they've learned from European and California winemakers to create food-friendly, unique wines that are memorable, yet blend seamlessly into the occasion.
Peter will be showing four of his wines from 5pm-6:30pm:
- 2015 Betsy's Blond bottle (Semillon/Chardonnay blend)
- 2014 Yin-Yang (Chardonnay/Viognier blend)
- NV Betsy's Backacher red blend
- 2013 Spann Mo Zin (Zinfandel)
